Keuka College’s Diversity Film Series Returns on Wednesday, Feb. 7

“Take Me Home” will examine the struggles of navigating life with a cognitive disability.

The first installment of this semester’s Dr. BettyLou Koffel ’74 Diversity Film Series, “Take Me Home,” will be screened on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

The 15-minute film from award-winning director and writer Liz Sargent “Take Me Home,” starring Anna Sargent and Jeena Yi, seeks to empower those with cognitive disabilities and their unique ways of communicating.
 
The films series, launched in 2022 by Keuka College alumna Dr. BettyLou Koffel and her husband, Philip Moyer, provides programming aimed at promoting engagement around issues of diversity and equity on campus.
 
“Take Me Home” will be shown at 6  p.m. in the Hawkins Lounge (inside the Dahlstrom Student Center). Following the screening there will be Q&A session with the filmmaker.
