Keuka College to Commemorate Veterans Day with a Nov. 12 Ceremony

Local veterans will be honored during the Norton Chapel gathering, where an American Legion Honor Guard and College leaders will participate.

Keuka College will mark Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 12, with a 12:45 p.m. ceremony in Norton Chapel.

Local veterans, their families, and friends are invited to join the College community in a ceremony honoring veterans who have served our country.  
 
The program will include guest speakers and recognition of all veterans in attendance. Penn Yan’s American Legion Color Guard Post 355 will also participate. 

Immediately following the ceremony, pizza will be served in the rear of the chapel.

-Name
-Rank
-Branch of military served in
-Dates of service
-Current town of residence
-Photo of the veteran (preferably in uniform)

All members of the College community are encouraged to attend.
 
To ensure that attendees to the event have adequate parking, about 15 parking spaces in Parking Lot Y – the parking lot at the main entrance of the College, leading to Ball Hall – will be closed to the College community until 2 p.m. on the day of the event.
