When are degrees conferred?

Degrees are conferred on the last day of every month. Students are eligible for conferral upon successful completion of all degree requirements and all grades have been entered by the instructor. Diplomas are mailed out 4-6 weeks after a degree has been conferred. 

Will there be new health requirements for students?

The COVID-19 vaccine is not a requirement to be on campus.

How do I obtain my official transcript?

All official transcripts can be obtained through the National Student Clearinghouse at getmytranscript.com

What are Latin Honors?

Latin Honors are given to students who have demonstrated high academic performance. Eligibility for Latin Honors is found in our College's catalog here.

What are the requirements for graduation?

All graduation requirements can be found in our College's catalog here. Please note that it is the student's responsibility to ensure that they have satisfactorily met all requirements for graduation.

Are there any restrictions on athletics and recreational activities?

There are no restrictions on athletics or recreational activities. Athletes will have their symptoms monitored by the Sports Medicine staff and return to play upon approval by the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at the Health and Counseling Center.

Is Keuka College requiring face masks to be worn during the 2023-24 academic year?

Face masks are not required on campus except as directed by an individual's healthcare provider in the event of COVID infection.

The College also encourages anyone who feels more comfortable wearing a mask to do so.

What are the guidelines for guests of students?

Guests who are actively ill with COVID should not be on campus.

Will the College conduct surveillance testing?

There is no surveillance testing on students planned for the 2023-24 academic year. 

Are services confidential?

Absolutely, your information cannot be shared with anyone without written consent (any limits to confidentiality are reviewed with you during your first appointment).

Are my health and counseling records the same?

No, these are two different files that are kept in separately. Health staff can only access your mental health records after obtaining a release of information from you.

What type of counseling services are available?

Short-term, brief supportive individual counseling. 

How many counselors does the Counseling Center have?

The Counseling Center has two Mental Health Counselors and a Masters in Social Work intern.

Are there session limits?

Students are seen for a limited number of sessions during the semester. Students are provided alternative counseling solutions if ongoing care is needed.

Students can make a health or counseling appointment by calling our office (315) 279-5368 or through email [email protected]. Our office is located on campus, the first floor of Keuka Commons, Room 115.  Please check our hours of operation.
