Live Demonstrations and Experiential Learning

A key highlight of the event will be live demonstrations showcasing the skills and expertise of first responders and law enforcement personnel. These demonstrations will include:

  • K-9 unit demonstrations
  • Forensic investigation techniques
  • Drone operations for law enforcement
  • Accident reconstruction
  • Crime scene investigation
  • EMS and fire safety/rescue exercises

Please note: Some law enforcement personnel will be in on-duty gear and armed in accordance with standard safety protocols, but there will be no live ammunition discharged. All participants and demonstrations will adhere strictly to local, state, and campus safety guidelines. Weather permitting, most demonstrations will be held outdoors. To accommodate the demonstrations, there will be no parking on North or Lake avenues on Friday.

Military and Career Opportunities

Students interested in military service will have the chance to engage with representatives from various military branches, who will provide guidance on how the GI Bill can help finance their education. They will also discuss potential paths for Reservists and active-duty service members post-graduation.
