How to Attend Keuka College
- Applications for admission are reviewed upon receipt of all required application materials:
- Undergraduate Application for International Students
- $30 application fee
- Essay as outlined on the application
- English-language transcript from secondary school
- Either TOEFL or SAT scores
- Declaration of Financial Independence (you must be able show the ability to pay one full-year tuition, room, board and fees, currently $34,410 U.S.). More information is available on the Financial Arrangements page.
- Once you are accepted, an I-20 “Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student” form is created through the Immigration & Customs Enforcement agency (ice.gov) by Suzanne Neary, Keuka’s international admissions coordinator.
- We will send an I-20 form to you along with your acceptance letter and enrollment deposit form.
- You then must pay a $200 USD for the creation of an I-901. This fee does not guarantee a student visa and is paid on the Internet at https://www.fmjfee.com/index.jhtml. You must pay this fee before setting up an appointment with your nearest U.S. embassy.
- Contact your nearest U.S. embassy to schedule an appointment for your visa interview. More information on this can be found on our Visa Information page.
- Once you have your visa, you will need to set up transportation arrangements to arrive at the Greater Rochester International Airport (KROC). You will need to keep Keuka College's international admissions coordinator informed of your travel itinerary so that we may arrange transportation for you from the airport to the College.
The visa process may take months, so proper planning is essential. Keuka College cannot change the visa process, speed it up, or change decisions made by ICE officials.
