Professional Interests

Research projects and field period opportunities working with birds in nest boxes, bird recordings, salamanders, and existing data sets related to bird growth, animal shelter data, and bird breeding ecology currently are available. Other research project ideas, especially those related to field ecology or invasive species, are also welcomed. Hands-on research that leads to a presentation at a scientific meeting or a publication in a scientific journal is the ideal goal of student research projects. Please, see me to discuss potential project ideas.
