Ms. Winstead has been an occupational therapist for almost 20 years, with experience in various areas of adult practice, management, and program consultation. Her clinical experience includes hospital-based rehabilitation, home health care, vocational services and supported employment, community-based mental health, ergonomics, and a bit of outpatient orthopedic practice. She has served as a clinical coordinator and program development consultant, and she currently co-owns a private practice providing contract OT and PT services.
Before coming to Keuka College in 2013, Sunny was an adjunct instructor and clinical instructor at Ithaca College. She received her B.A. in English literature and rhetoric from Binghamton University in 1993, and her M.S. in occupational therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University/ Medical College of Virginia in 1996. She is currently enrolled at the University of New England, where she plans to complete her doctorate (Ed.D.) in educational leadership in 2017.
