Dr. Helen Clancy has had over 45 years of nursing practice mostly in leadership positions. Dr, Clancy has held Director of Nursing position at community hospitals varying is size from 300-600 beds. Helen has taught Quality Improvement in healthcare nationally and internationally while working for Voluntary Hospitals of America. For the last thirteen years Dr. Clancy's career has focused on Gerontology and education. Helen was the L incensed Administrator for a continuity care campus in Upstate New York consisting of a 132 bed Nursing Home with a 44 bed dedicated Dementia unit, a licensed Adult Home, a Licensed Home Care Agency, a Medical Adult Day Unit, a Family Social Service Agency, a Group Home and an Institute on Research for the Aging. Dr. Clancy continues as a consultant. Helen has taught adjunct in the Master of Nursing Program at Lemoyne College, the MBA Program at the Whitman School, Syracuse University as well as being a adjunct at Keuka in teh Nursing Department.
