Dr. Vicki Smith received her BS in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis Missouri, a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Gannon University, and her Doctorate degree in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has published 2 books through the American Occupational Therapy Association, which focused on bridging the gap between classroom and clinical education for occupational therapists. Dr. Smith has completed numerous national presentations in topics ranging from distance education teaching techniques to issues relating to classroom to clinical education. She was an ambassador representing the American Occupational Therapy Association during a delegation trip to China in 2004 where she presented on the topic of “An Overview of the Treatment Techniques for the Hemi-plegic Upper Extremity.”
