Recognizing Leadership

05/04/2008

Among the award winners, from left to right: Amy Stroka, Nikki Froniear, Chelsea Bango, and Laura Williams.

Former media mogul Ted Turner had a sign in his office that read: "Lead, Follow or Get out of the Way."

At Keuka, emphasis is placed on the kead part of that saying and that is why the College annually recognizes students who exhibit leadership qualities. It is done at the Leadership and Moving Up Awards Ceremony held during May Day Weekend.

In addition to the awards presentation and the "moving up' part of the event, the May Day Weekend king and queen were revealed
