A Message from President Burke

Recently, I met with Anne Weed and Gary Smith to discuss the reallocation of duties and responsibilities that were part of the former provost position. The outcome of that discussion is as follows:
- Anne Weed, as chief academic officer, will have the title of vice president for academic affairs, with responsibility for traditional academic programs and academic oversight of our international programs, including China.
- Gary Smith will have the title of vice president for the Center for Professional Studies, with responsibility for the Accelerated Studies for Adults Program (ASAP) and the Wertman Office of Distance Education.
- Jeanine Santelli will retain her title: associate vice president for academic programs.
