INS 301P: Integative Studies: The Brain, Neuro- Ethics and Society

Pre-requisites: ENG-110 and ENG-112. This cousre explores developments in contemporary neuroscience and the profound ethical questions raised by this research. The course considers how our evolving understanding of the human brain demands that we reconsider very fundamental question regarding human nature-issues that are not just of scientific and philosophical concern but also have historically informed and guided our broader culture, our social value and societal practices.
