Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: ENG 110, ENG 112. A course that focuses on writers whose voices are sometimes excluded or under-represented in the traditional canon: female writers, writers of color, or other alternative voices who must struggle to be heard in cultural settings that are either indifferent, uncomprehending, or openly hostile.
