Transferring to Keuka College
College students who have begun their studies at a two- or four-year college and are considering Keuka as the college for completing their degrees.
Why transfer to Keuka College?
Students who transfer to Keuka College recognize the distinct competitive advantage we provide graduates through our emphasis on experiential learning.
It's easy. Students with 25 credits are not required to follow the same general liberal arts core requirements as freshmen. Plus, prospective transfers can take advantage of our partnerships (articulation agreements) with area community colleges.
How many credits will transfer?
Transfer credit is evaluated on a case-by-case. You're best bet for a seamless and fast transfer process is to contact Lynne Van Zandt, our transfer admissions counselor. She'll work with you to make a smooth and quick transfer to Keuka.
Financial aid for transfer students
Transfer students may qualify for federal, state, and institutional need-based financial aid programs administered by Keuka College. Keuka typically awards $6,000 per year to transfer students whose GPA is 3.5 or higher; $5,000 per year to students whose GPA is in the 3.0 - 3.49 range.
We also offer other non need-based transfer scholarships:
- Transfer Scholarship
- Keuka Grant (may not apply to recipients of merit awards)
- Keuka Residency Grant (may not apply to recipients of merit awards)
- Keuka College Scholarship (may not apply to recipients of merit awards)
- Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship - An academic scholarship for traditional undergraduate students valued at $2,000 per academic year. This scholarship is renewable if the student remains in good academic standing and maintains full time status. Applicants must be a current member of Phi Theta Kappa and provide proof of membership at the time of application.
Applying for financial aid and scholarships is easy. By completing our application for admittance, you also apply for financial aid and scholarships. You will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (Keuka FAFSA code: 002744).
